Driving the road in a sedan, can it be done? I saw elsewhere that people said they had to turn around and could not drive the road in a sedan due to potholes. Is that true?

No problems driving a sedan. We drove a mid sized SUV and had no issues. There are not many pull offs so you wind up 1/3rd on the road and the rest off the road. I agree with …

I agree with the individual that suggested the turnaround near the end. Entering from near Moose Bridge is the best. Good luck with wildlife watching.

We came in from the south end through Teton village (hwy 390) and proceeded into the park where the road ended at the intersection (Moose/Park headquarters) close to the Nat'l Park visitor center. It was a beautiful drive and we saw several moose right next to the road. If you don't want to go into the park you can turn around by the park entrance. So technically the road does loop around if you don't mind going through the park. Hope this helps...
