Haiti’s children are increasingly caught in the crossfire of gang violence, forced to carry weapons, spy on police and rival gangs and run errands for gunmen, according to a report released Wednesday by Amnesty International.

International human rights group Amnesty International, says relentless gang violence in the Haitian capital and surrounding areas has resulted in a brutal attack on childhood in the French-speaking country.

Report estimates that more than a million children live in areas controlled by or under the influence of armed gangs.
