Eight of the 14 nominees are appearing on the ballot for the first time This year’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominees are here! On Wednesday, Feb. 12, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation revealed the list of 14 performers who will be considered for induction in the class of 2025.

Carey, Lauper, Joy Division/New Order, Oasis, Soundgarden and The White Stripes have been nominated before. Bad Company, The Black Crowes, Checker, Cocker, Maná, Idol, OutKast and Phish are on the ballot for the first time.

Last year, Mary J. Blige,Cher, Foreigner, A Tribe Called Quest, Kool & The Gang, Ozzy Osbourne, Dave Matthews Band and singer-guitarist Peter Frampton all were inducted.
