A Philadelphia officer is expected to be treated and released from the hospital after being struck by a car while riding a dirt bike in Southwest Philadelphia Friday afternoon.

A Philadelphia police officer on a dirt bike was struck by a vehicle at 3:55 p.m. The crash occurred at South 61st Street and Woodland Avenue. The officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to be released.
