The suspect was grieving the death of their mother, bullied at school after being hit by a drunk driver and became fixated by mass shooters, police said.

An 18-year-old student was arrested for planning a mass shooting at Mooresville High School, following an FBI tip and search warrants.

Trinity J Shockley, an 18-year-old Mooresville High School student, has been arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit murder and intimidation for threatening to commit terrorism at the school.
