In an unexpected turn Tuesday, a Nashville woman pleaded guilty to charges in the death of a 22-year-old Murfreesboro woman whose remains were found in Wilson County. Taiyana Tipton, 23, one of three suspects in the 2022 death of Mya Fuller, was scheduled to appear in court for a hearing to ensure parties were ready to start trial next week.

A Nashville woman has pled guilty to charges related to the death of a Wilson County woman. Mya Fuller, was reported missing by her family in Murfreesboro in early August 2022. Human remains belonging to Fuller were found in a wooded area at a property on Trammel Lane in the southeastern portion of Wilson County on Aug.

Days before her trial was set to begin, Taiyana Tipton appeared in a Wilson County courtroom and pled guilty in Fuller’s death.
