Every subsequent smart speaker and display the company has sold has been branded Echo, with Alexa as the name of the onboard voice assistant. After a tip-off from a reader, The Verge was able to confirm that sometimes you might see an Echo Show listed as an Alexa Show on Amazon.com. I've tried to recreate this test or glitch without success, but I truly hope it becomes a real thing.

The settings can be viewed and changed from the Alexa app on your smartphone, under “More > Alexa Privacy”. Alexa users may wish to review the settings in “Manage your Alexa Data” to choose how long recordings are saved for and which voice recordings to delete. Recordings may also be deleted using a voice command.
