Brown was officially diagnosed with a bone bruise with posterior impingement in his right knee according to the team. He had already been ruled out for Friday’s game against the Jazz for Boston and now will miss Sunday’s matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers. The All-Star forward is set to be re-evaluated Monday, according to the team.

Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown has been an integral part of the squad for several seasons. It's been more of the same this year, as the 2024 NBA Finals MVP is averaging 22.8 points on 45.9 percent shooting with 6.1 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and a team-high 1.3 steals.

The Celtics will not have both Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown available for Tuesday's home game against the Nets.
