Oregon and Washington will reopen sport salmon fishing Friday below Bonneville Dam. Anglers will get three days, through Sunday evening, then possibly another three days from Tuesday through Thursday.

Earlier this year, the Northwest Power and Conservation Council announced it had fallen more than halfway short of its longtime goal of 5 million fish returning to the Columbia River Basin each year.
