It's been a pretty frustrating week for owners of a 2nd-gen Chromecast or Chromecast Audio, but a fix for the bug that's rendered these devices inoperable is now rolling out – just as new issues appear for the newer Chromecast with Google TV.

The Google TV Streamer launched at the tail end of last year with a new Voice Remote which can also be used with the latest Chromecast streaming devices. However, if you bought one at the time, you'd have found out that some of the features didn't work.

Google is addressing issues with its second-generation Chromecast and Chromecast Audio, which are currently malfunctioning.
