The Kansas City Chiefs are continuing to expand their TV footprint. ESPN, Disney+, and Skydance Sports today are developing a six-episode docuseries, produced by Words + Pictures in association with Skydance Sports, NFL Films, 2PM Productions, and Foolish Club Studios.

ESPN announced Friday that it will be producing a six-episode docuseries on KC’s season, which included a 17-3 combined record and appearance in Super Bowl LIX. The network said the original content was “expected to premiere later this year” on ESPN and Disney+.

Fans of Kansas City Chiefs were left disappointed by their favourite NFL team's 40-22 defeat against the Philadelphia Eagles at Super Bowl LIX last month. However, they would be happy to note that a docuseries is currently in the works that will explore the behind-the-scenes journey of the team's stars and talk about its long lasting legacy in the game.
