New Jersey officials urged residents to conserve water and be wary of wildfire as the state's drought continues well into 2025.

Twenty structures are threatened as a wildfire burns in Franklin Township, Gloucester County, on Wednesday night, the New Jersey Forest Fire Service said. The fire, dubbed the "Scotland Run Wildfire," has burned 150 acres so far and is 50% contained,

The forest fire service has battled 381 blazes this year, with three major fires each burning more than 100 acres.

New Jersey officials are warning that we could have a very active wildfire season due to a lack of rain in recent months.
