The Pelham Fire Department is rolling out new ambulances ... The ambulances rolled out on Jan. 1, and this is the first time city-owned ambulances have been used in the city.

The Pelham Fire Department’s open house Saturday afternoon was an acknowledgement of history and a celebration of advances that make the community safer.

The Pelham Fire Department said the fire was first reported around 4 a.m. in a home on Nashua Road. When firefighters arrived, they said flames were showing from the roof of the Cape-style home.
