A Canadian Costco employee found a mysterious product listing for a Nintendo Switch that might have revealed the retail price.

Analyst estimates for the Switch 2 suggest around $400, but a leak from Costco in Canada surfaced on Famiboards (via Notebookcheck) showed a placeholder price tag of CAD$499, which translates to USD$350. Of course, those leaks must be taken with a massive grain of salt, as it's not particularly hard to print a fake Costco price card.

While Nintendo is staying tight-lipped on the price, analysts have estimated that the console will cost around $400. The original Nintendo Switch launched for $300 in 2017, though when adjusted for inflation is equivalent to around $388, making a $400 price point for the Switch 2 closer to its predecessor than it first appears.

Nintendo has shared further details about its plans to meet customer demand for the Nintendo Switch 2. In a recent earnings call Q&A, Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa told investors that the initial demand would be based on the response of the Nintendo Direct on April 2, which would provide a "closer look" at Switch 2.
