Former Georgia Tech defensive coordinator Andrew Thacker will have a new role on the Georgia football staff, according to a report

Thacker is a former defensive coordinator with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. He served as Georgia Tech's defensive coordinator from 2019-2023. He also served as the safeties coach for Georgia Tech in 2023 before becoming an analyst at UGA last season.
