Department of Government Efficiency head Elon Musk and his workers have, among other requests, pushed for access to the government’s computer systems.

A judge ruled Saturday that the activities of Elon Musk’s government cost-cutting effort risk “the disclosure of sensitive and confidential information” and render them “more vulnerable than before to hacking.

The department’s deputy inspector general said the audit will examine access and security controls on Bureau of Fiscal Service systems.
