But even given the reality of the challenging new conference, Wisconsin's 2025 schedule may be one of the most challenging in the entire sport. The Badgers are projected to host at least four ranked teams. They will also visit another four, including national powers Alabama, Oregon and Michigan.

Marcus Sedberry, former Deputy Athletic Director, has been appointed as the new general manager for Wisconsin Football. Sedberry replaces Max Stienecker, who recently left for a similar position at USC.

In that role, he worked closely with Badgers coach Luke Fickell and oversaw the program’s roster management. In his new role Sedberry will lead the Badgers roster management, player personnel and football operations.

Fickell prioritized that experience and proximity to the program during the hiring process. "Marcus is somebody that's been close to the program that we know well," Fickell told the Mike Heller Show on Monday afternoon.
