Some areas of the Garden State are under winter storm warnings, and others are under winter weather advisories with varying amounts of snow expected late Tuesday and early Wednesday.

As the second storm leaves the Midwest and approaches the East Coast late Wednesday, snow may turn to more of a wintry mix in places in the Mid-Atlantic from Wednesday night into Thursday morning. A wintry mix could lead to icy conditions across the Southern Appalachians during both events.

A winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Monday at 3:01 p.m. valid from Tuesday 7 p.m. until Wednesday 7 a.m. for Lower Bucks.
