Palestinian militant groups threatened punishment on Thursday for "collaborators" furthering Israeli goals after the first substantial protests against the war in Gaza and Hamas' rule.

Gaza Protesters in Israel and Gaza took to the streets against their respective governments on Wednesday, a week after Israel resumed its war in the Palestinian enclave with a bombing campaign and ground operations.

Hamas has condemned protests which have broken out across Gaza representing the largest demonstrations against the militant group since the conflict with Israel began in October 2023. The group's military wing accused protesters of being "agents" who support Israel.
