Air-taxi service Archer has unveiled NYC routes. Passengers will be able to get to the three New York City airports in as little as five minutes. No flights can begin, however, until the FAA clears the company's eVTOL craft to take to the skies.

One of the more serious players in the air taxi game, Archer, has just unveiled routes for a potential service in New York City. Its Midnight aircraft would shuttle passengers from Manhattan to JFK, LaGuardia and Newark airpots in five to 15 minutes,

Archer Aviation (NYSE:ACHR) announced plans on Thursday to launch an electric air taxi network in New York City. The eVTOL company's goal is to dramatically reduce travel times between Manhattan and major area airports.
