NFL RedZone and commercial-free football will return in 2025 but there’s a chance it may be without popular host Scott Hanson. Front Office Sports reports that Hanson’s contract expired following the 2024 regular season and that negotiations on a new deal have hit a snag.

The popular RedZone host for the scoring-focused program that runs each Sunday during the regular season may be on his way out as Hanson is reportedly being courted by NFL broadcast partner NBC. Hanson, 51, is entering the last season of his contract as host of RedZone, and negotiations have stalled, according to Front Office Sports.
