Conrad was Rhyl & District Motor Club Stage Rally Champion 97, 98, 99. His last hillclimb/sprints were at Strathclyde Park 1991 in Renault 5 GT Turbo, previous to that Debden Sprint 1991. After 21 years away from Motorsport he's back, this time in a standard signal red TR6.

Raced by Lane for the rest of the season, finished second in the Doune hillclimb in October. Sold to Norrie Galbraith for 1982 and upgraded to 79B specification but heavily damaged in Galbraith's fatal accident while filming for Scottish TV at Doune in September.

It all started back in 1993 when, after the demise of the hill climb at Strathclyde Park, the club had been in the background of premier motorsport until asked to take over the Scottish Rally Championship round which at that time had been based in Galashiels.

Mar 20, 2003 · The last meeting to be held at Kinkell Braes was on 13th October 1979. The venue was replaced by Strathclyde Park, now also sadly no more.
