The year 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of Austria's liberation from the Nazis at the end of the Second World War, as well as the 70th anniversary of the State Treaty of 1955. These two events and Austria's positive development in the Second Republic created the conditions for Austria's accession to the European Union on 1 January 1995.

About 90 galleries from around 20 countries and four continents - Europe, Africa, North and South America - will make this year's SPARK Art Fair in Vienna's Marx Halle the leading international art fair in Austria.

Fischer von Erlach at Wien Museum. The Karlskirche is regarded as the most important baroque structure in Austria and is a Viennese landmark.
